Horizontal double decker electrical upsetting machine equipped with automatic loading and unloading units, make possible to be integrated in production cells with different levels of automation.
With this configuration of machine it is possible to electro-upset bars from 13 to 42 mm diameter and achieve a productivity which, depending upon the diameter and length of the bars, can range from 60 to 200 pieces/hour.
The upset and unloaded piece is taken off by a robot to load a press, or alternatively taken in charge by an operator who takes care of its forming under the press.
The two transformers are single phase and the heating is obtained by alternate current (AC).
Up to this level of power, heating in AC is convenient, as the cost of the single-phase electrical upsetting machine is 30% lower than a three phase rectified (DC) version and the power needed for the water cooling is about the half, not being the rectifier group to cool.
